The Wedding
March 30th 2002

On March the 30th 2002 Jane and myself got married at Holy Cross Church, in Timperley. A fantastic day was had, to say but the least, and the sun shone for us. The whole event was done the way that we wanted it and not down to a traditional wedding. The stag night, on the 29th was also my 40th, so that made things just a little bit special and different.
 Jane entered the church and walked down the isle, not to the normal "Here Comes The Bride", but to "The Queen Of Sheba", and this was played by a string quartet which added to the whole move of the occasion. The hymes chosen were on the lively and jolly side, from the good old Morning has Broken, to Lord Of The Dance (A very apt song it being Easter!) and the last song was Jerusalem.
 Also at the end of the wedding we Got Lee our baby son christened, this in its self was yet another different thing to do. It was good to see my family, friends, old and current work colleagues and some of the OMD fans that I have met over a period of time.
 To those that managed to make the vent thank you, to those that could not be there shame on you !! Joke, but you missed a great day and night.
 I was going to write a list of thank you's but knowing me I would miss someone and cause upset, but to all those that helped and were part of the day, a massive thank you from Jane and myself.
 One last, but maybe important thing. A few people did not want this wedding to happen, and a few barriers have been put in our way, to say but the least, but to those people, we are sorry, but we have tied the knot. And you know what, I am so happy, and after some events over the last few years, many things now make sense to me.
 During my speech at the wedding breakfast, I stated, that you should always go where your hearts tells you, and not where family or friends may want to lead you, please take these words with you, and never let your fears stand in the way of your dreams!!
